Kristin and Ryan's wedding ceremony and reception were at Anthony's at Paxon Hollow. This beautiful venue is nestled in the rolling hills of Media. The girls got ready in the bridal suite above the ballroom. Kristin looked amazing in her gown which was covered with beautiful embroidery. The bridesmaids wore cantaloupe colored dresses with each selecting their own style gowns. Flowers by the Bouquet Shop complimented the girl's gowns. Ryan looked handsome in his charcoal suit with a cantaloupe paisley tie. The groomsmen wore matching suits with cantaloupe ties to match the bridesmaids.
After getting some fun photos of the preparations, the bride and groom opted to do a first look outside before the ceremony. We selected a shady spot outdoors near the patio so the bridesmaids could watch. The bride walked up behind Ryan and touched his shoulder. No matter how many times Maria and I witness the first look between couples, it never gets old. Seeing the pure joy on the couple's face when they see each other for the first time on the wedding day is always a special moment.
After some photos of the couple, Kristen and Ryan were ready to get some formal portraits done of their bridal party and families. It was a steamy day, but we quickly completed the photos while having fun with everyone. By completing the photos before the ceremony, the couple would be free to mingle during cocktail hour.
The ceremony was on the deck overlooking the beautiful grounds. The groom's sister was the officiant making the ceremony all the more personal and heartfelt. The couple wrote their own vows for an emotion filled ceremony.
Cocktail hours was in the ballroom, completed with a wonderful selection of appetizers and cold beverages. DJ Mark led the evenings festivities with announcements and great music selections. Family and friends danced the night away celebrating with the new Mr. and Mrs.
We wish Kristin and Ryan many years of love and laughter!
