Engagement Portraits

Getting engaged is one of the most exciting moments in your life. It is the start of a new chapter in your life and it’s the start of your journey to getting married. Many couples are sure if they need an engagement session.  In addition to giving you an opportunity for some beautiful portraits with your soon-to-be-spouse, an engagement session provides you with photos for a variety reasons. Your engagement photos can be used for your Save the Dates, your wedding website, your invitations, your favor tags, your engagement or wedding announcement, a guest book, a signature portrait, or table numbers. Even if you choose not to use your photos for any of these reasons, an engagement session is also a great way to ease any camera anxiety before your wedding day. Why not show off that gorgeous ring? We’re guessing that a lot of people are asking to see pictures of your bling!

We work with you to create a customized session, beginning with the location. We can photograph you and your soon-to-be-spouse at the place that you had your first date or another location that has special meaning to the two of you, head to your favorite park, or we have our private portrait gardens available. As we customize your session, from location to props, we will provide you with tips and advice on how to dress for the day of your session. We suggest that you wear what you are comfortable in. You are welcome to bring a couple of different outfits and options.
